Oscar Brau is in a collision course with destiny and while he is a well-meaning individual, his willpower will be tested on multiple accounts. On the opposite side is Arthur Griffen, an acquaintance of Oscar that is also going through many of the same challenges as Oscar but with a lot of financial power. After a series of encounters with Oscar, Arthur decides to listen to his concerns and put in motion Oscar’s plan to create a non-profit organization meant to propel their country forward. Oscar, desperate as his life breaks apart before his eyes, decides to act in a way from which there can be no coming back, and Arthur, in his naiveté, ignites the destructive fire hidden within Oscar’s mild-mannered soul.
Voluntary 10 is a story I’m working on here on Medium over the following weeks. The aim is to publish a chapter every week, hopefully by the end of the day on Wednesday. I am aiming for the word count to make up a novel. Every individual post will make up a small section of the story, at least 5 minutes long (by Medium’s count). The reason that I am aiming for a weekly release schedule is that I hope to have that amount of time to make adjustments as I go, depending on user response to each post.
I will be adding links to each section, in order, as I publish them to the table of contents below. The first few chapters will be free as I test the waters.
